Junior Collaborative Teacher NE/Year 1

Full time – Fixed term. Term 3 to the end of the year (Due to roll growth)

Start date: 21st July 2025   End date: 18th December 2025

 

Seeking: A vibrant and creative Teacher to join our collaborative junior team, in Term 3. (Date negotiable)

We are a growing multi-cultural school in Northcote central on Auckland’s North Shore. We value our students, Manaakitanga – respect and relationships. Our staff are passionate practitioners, who empower our students to be successful learners.

 We are looking for a teacher:

• Who values and understands the importance of foundational learning in the early years.
• Who is open to learning and is adaptable.
• Demonstrates culturally responsive and inclusive practice
• Has a good initial understanding of Te Mataiaho – refreshed curriculum, (PD will be provided and is currently ongoing for our school)
• Has a desire to make learning engaging and enjoyable for our children.
• Has a great sense of humour!

We run the BSLA structured literacy program and a Structured Maths Program at our place, with training opportunities, if required.
